Lisa was born and raised in Wetzel County. Graduate of Valley High School and a BS Business from West Liberty State College. Lisa became a State Farm Agent in 1988, licensed in WV & OH auto insurance, home and renters insurance, life insurance, ATVs, motorcycle and side-by-side insurance, boat insurance, camper insurance. Earned State Farm’s highest Legion of Honor Crystal Excellence Award in 2013. Lisa is passionate about helping all families in WV and OH.

Lisa is married to Tom Shepherd and a proud mother of sons Taylor (State Farm Agent in Marshall County) and Sam (legal writer in Pittsburgh, PA) and their families. Lisa and Tom love to spend time at camp, traveling anywhere warm and enjoying all things outdoors with family and friends. Lisa loves to garden and is an avid WVU sports enthusiast!
